About Us
DebtSettlement2010 is a company built on helping you to reduce your outstanding
debts in a legal & simple manner that will save you thousands of dollars.
Debt settlement is an extremely aggressive method to get out of debt. People choose
to enroll in debt settlement programs for a variety of reasons. If you are considering
bankruptcy or just can’t afford your monthly payments we may be the answer
you’re looking for.
When you finally make the commitment to both yourself and your family to handle
your finances our debt settlement program is quite simple. Our goal is to negotiate
the balances that you currently owe and reduce your debts by an estimated 40-70%.
Your debts will be negotiated by a licensed member of the International Association
of Professional Debt Arbitrators that is employed by our firm. All of the funds
that are being used to settle your debts are under YOUR CONTROL.
We will work within your budget to come up with a monthly payment that you can handle.
We will work diligently with both yourself and your creditors to help you reach
your goals.
Debt negotiation or debt settlement as it is now called is an honest and effective
alternative to the above mentioned programs. Debt Settlement programs are the most
aggressive way to handle your debts. Debt settlement companies work for the consumer.
Debt Settlement programs are the only programs where you are not paying back 100%
of the principle plus interest and late fees. People ask what happens to the rest
of the money that they owe and the truth is the balance is actually forgiven by
the creditor in a transaction called a settlement. This process allows you to handle
your debts in a much shorter time frame then any other program due to the reduced
principle you are paying. The major advantages of enrolling in a Debt Settlement
a program are:
- Honest and Honorable way to avoid bankruptcy
- No public record of ever enrolling in a debt settlement program
- You choose how long you want the program to run
- 1-3 year program vs. 6-9 years in debt consolidation and counseling programs
- Allows for flexibility if a monthly payment is missed.
We work out a monthly amount that each client can afford to pay. That amount is
electronically debited from their personal bank account and deposited into their
"settlement account" at a federally insured bank on the date(s) they work out with
our Debt Consultants.
When the client has accumulated enough money to cover the settlement and our fee,
we contact one of the creditors and make them an offer. Offers are submitted until
both the client and the creditor agree on the amount. We then get the client’s
written or electronic approval on the total settlement (including fees). Upon receipt
of the client approval, the bank will release the funds necessary to cover the total
settlement (including fees). Once this settlement is paid, the client will begin
the accumulation of funds in their settlement account and the process will repeat
as money becomes available for the next settlement. We continue in this way until
all of the accounts are settled.
It is important to note that we do not make any monthly payments to the creditors
and we cannot pay for a settlement without our client’s written or electronic
approval.

Our Debt Settlement plan involves negotiating a payoff for each unsecured debt you
have and then setting up a payoff plan to eliminate your debt between 12 and 36
months.
For example, lets say you are $20,000 in total debt, a trained debt specialist
will contact each of your creditors to negotiate on your behalf a reduced payoff.
In most cases we can reduce your debt by as much as 40% to 60%.
Obviously, if you could pay $10,000 over a 36 month period to settle a $20,000 debt
it would be a no-brainer for most people. This is what we do every day for our clients,
why don’t you become one today. Have a Debt Specialist from DebtSettlement2010.com
